3D, Mods & Game Art

Skyrim - I am trying to learn to mod Skyrim and have started on a few things but still have a ways to go and plenty of decisions to make (several small mods, a few bigger ones, for myself or everyone etc). The image shows some of the things I've tampered with so far...

Founder's Fortune - A game by Dionic Software where they made modding very easy and also have a tutorial or two on how to do it. I have a few mods finished and available on Nexus Mods but you can also download them right here. Remember that I have made these items from scratch and you are not allowed to modify or reupload them anywhere without permission.

Aywas - Aywas is mainly a virtual pet collection and breeding website where members can contribute new pets, colourations, alterations, avatar clothing and other items. It is very HBTQI-friendly and my first event submissions was for a Pride event (top left). I am no longer active, at least until they finish their ongoing recoding, but some of my last items were for their ten year anniversary (bottom right).

Aywas - I was quite active for 5 or 6 years on Aywas so I had time to do a lot of stuff. In Aywas you can have your own store where you can resell pets or items you find in the game world or upload and sell (for site currency) your own creations. The image mostly shows clothing sets and backgrounds but also a few items such as fauna (basically pet pets).

Aywas - No samples of Aywas art would be complete without the pets, even if I may have focused on clothing. The top row of this image shows some original pets, one of which was made a "silver species" (owned by user Tae), the next two were accepted as "monsters" in an explore area and the final three were never used. The brownish prehistoric set to the middle right and the mostly plainly coloured ones at the bottom are edits made for others to colour, while the rest are various edited and coloured site pets.

VRML/Cybertown - I joined a community called Cybertown in the mid-90ies. It had 3D areas, houses and a mall where members could upload and sell their own items. I set my heart on learning VRML so I could make my own things, and I did. In time I became one of the best item creators of that community, but VRML became obsolete and Cybertown closed down. However, if you were a member, there is a Facebook group called Cybertown Anonymous you can join and they are working on setting up a new version of Cybertown for sentimental reasons. When I missed 3D too much, I started learning Blender (2021 I think - before that I hand coded my VRML items in a text editor).
